The Oshkosh Cycling Club and the Oshkosh YMCA would like to thank everyone who rode (despite gale force winds), volunteered, or sponsored the 2008 Strong Kids Benefit Ride. With your help, we generated $3,400 is support of the cause! Check back in late winter or early spring 2009 for information about next year's ride.

General Information

Join the Oshkosh Cycling Club for the 2008 Strong Kids Benefit Ride. Get outside and ride with friends while also benefiting kids!

The Oshkosh Cycling Club has teamed up withthe Oshkosh YMCA to support two great non profit campaigns. The "YMCA Strong Kids Campaign" and the OCC "Bid for a Bike" scholarship. Both of these are targeted to encourage the development of strong, healthy kids! Monetary pledges brought in from the riders will be used toward these goals!

Three routes will start and end at the Oshkosh YMCA forming a three-part loop which adds up to a metric century. Riders of all ages are encouraged to select the route combination which is best suited to their individual riding ability.

Need financial assistance to get a bike? Participate in the "Bid for a Bike" Scholarship. See information on the second page of the registration form.

Oshkosh Cycling Club does not sponsor any group bike rides or events and is not responsible for any harm, injury or damage to person(s) or property that may occur during any such group bike rides or events. Anyone taking part in such group bike rides or events thereby waive, release and dismiss all claims from damages and personal injury which may incur before, during or after the above named group bike rides or events, against any and all Oshkosh Cycling Club officers and members.
