News...Fall Party PlannedAdded Sun, Sep 18, 2011 THE OSHKOSH CYCLING CLUB FALL PARTY will be Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 4PM until ??? at Jim Buehner's Homestead, 3002 Omro Road, Oshkosh (look for OCC Banner). The part is free to all current members of the Oshkosh Cycling Club. Non-members will be asked to give a donation. Monty & Laura Giffin's will be providing vegan chili, and Ken & Peg Kubiak's will bring their White Chicken Chili. The OCC will provide soda, water, bowls, cups, spoons, oyster crackers & napkins. If you'd like, bring a dish to pass and your own adult beverage. There will be a drawing of names for prizes at 7:00PM. You must be present to win. The club will have information available to sign up new members and orders will be taken for club jerseys. Payment must be received with order. We plan to take orders until December 1st with arrival by the Spring Election (March 2012). Tour de TitanAdded Sun, Sep 18, 2011 The Oshkosh Cycling Club is proud to be a part of
the 2011 Tour de Titan ride. The ride, both a promotion of safe
cycling as well as a celebration of the UW-Oshkosh Homecoming, will
be on Saturday, October 22nd at 11 AM. For more details, see

Added Sun, Aug 28, 2011 The Oshkosh Cycling Club will be sponsoring the upcoming Wednesday Cookout on September 7th. This will be the last cookout of the season, and we hope everyone can attend. We encourage you to bring a friend and join the OCC on the 7th. Wheel and Sprocket will be offering a gift card equal to the cost of your OCC membership. Not only that, but members (all members, not just new members) also qualify for a 15% discount off non-sale accessories and 5% off non-sale bikes while your membership is current! Ride Time ChangeAdded Sun, Aug 28, 2011 The days are getting shorter, so take note that rides will be starting at 5:30pm after Labor Day. The YMCA will also be ending their Drop-in child care program for the year on Wednesday, August 31st, the program will restart in spring 2012. OCC Joins Bicycle Federation of WisconsinAdded Thu, Apr 21, 2011 The Oshkosh Cycling Club is proud to announce their new membership in the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin.Wednesday Ride StartsAdded Sun, Apr 10, 2011 The Wednesday night Wheel and Sprocket ride starts this Wednesday night! For the first week, the ride will start at 5:30. Weeks following the ride will start at 6:00. See the calendar for details.Oshkosh Fitness Festival AnnouncedAdded Sun, Apr 10, 2011 The Oshkosh Fitness Festival will take place Friday and Saturday May 27th and 28th. The Oshkosh Cycling Club will have a booth at the Health and Fitness Expo at City Center Hotel that Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM. In addition to the Expo, there will be both a running race and bike ride on Saturday. Meeting notes can be foundSpring Elections AnnouncedAdded Tue, Jan 25, 2011 The OCC Spring Election is set for Sunday March 6, 2011 at West End Pizza, 1414 W. 20th Ave., Oshkosh, from 12 noon until 3:00 PM. OCC will provide pizza and soda. Families are encouraged to attend.Voting for the two expired positions will occur from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM, to select a new president (Brian Kienert's term as president has expired), secretary or any new vacant position created during this selection. Beginning this year, club members will be given membership cards. Club members can renew their yearly membership during this meeting ($10.00 single/$15.00 family), and those interested in joining, can become members. We hope to continually increase our membership. Consider a family membership and encourage others (friends, neighbors, etc.) to attend and become an OCC member.
